About Woody and Elbe | |

Woody and Elbe are a bonded pair of dogs that have had their world turned upside down recently. Their owner sadly passed away in a local house fire. These boys are now without a family ( although in a loving foster home) and recovering from the experience.
Woody and Elbe are both 2 yr old neutered male Lab mixes. Woody is a Black Lab/beagle 50 lbs, spunky, playful and fun. Woody is the black dog pictured.
Elbe is 75 lbs ( needs some work to get to lose a few lbs) sweet, easily trained, calm disposition and VERY sensitive to the moods of people. Elbe is the yellow/red dog pictured.
Both are great with other dogs and love to play. They are currently living with VERY dog savvy cats and adjusting. They wouldn't be a good fit for cats not used to dogs though. Both are great in the car, have good house manners and love people (they love snuggling!)
Woody is true to his hound heritage and has the squirrel prey drive and tends to wander off. He needs a home with a secure fence. Elbe, who has his recall down better tends to follow Woody if able to. Both would benefit from recall training "Come" (like most young dogs.)
These boys would do best in a home with adults and older kids as Woody *really* loves food and is currently working on gently taking treats.
