Winnie is an 8 year old female Weimaraner.  She has been with her human family including two children since she was 8 weeks old.  Due to household changes which do not allow for consistent attention and exercise, her human family is looking for a new active home for Winnie.  Her new family must love to go for walks, runs, hikes - anything that gives Winnie the ability to be active every day.  She is great with all people including children; she travels well in a car and loves being "out and about" with people.  She is fully house trained, sleeps on her own doggie bed, walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands.

Winnie needs to go to a home with no other pets including dogs.  Though she is comfortable with other dogs in her vicinity, she feels threatened when other dogs approach her and/or are "in her face".  With this understanding of her temperament, she very much enjoys being a part of everyday adventures.
With her best interest in mind, her current family hopes to find the right human companion(s) who will give Winnie, with her boundless love and energy, the happy life she deserves."
