Linus is a 2 yr old Beagle Mix. He seems to have a hint of Bassett Hound in him- but that is a best guess as he is longer and tiny bit bigger than a beagle. Linus was a stray from Northern VT that was abandonded and found starving in a snow bank. The poor boy was nothing but a skeleton when he was found and rescued. He is very sweet and loving, gentle, and can be timid at times .He is very sensitive to loud noises and quick motions. He would be fine to live with children of any age that were respectful of his timidness.

Linus is GREAT with other dogs and cats, rides well in a car, has great house manners and is working on crate training. He walks well on a leash. Linus is a bit of a "couch potato" and loves to snuggle with anyone that will let him! He is very mellow and well behaved in the house, and is not overly vocal.

The Beagle's outdoor high energy level, and keen sense of smell make them active members of the household that do best with a fenced yard or leashed walks/hikes.

Linus is only 24 lbs, and a sweet young boy! He is a joy to be around, don't miss out on this ready made dog!
