Peter and I rescued a dog from your group about 5 years ago. She is a loved and loving member of our family and the community. Her name is Tipper Tip Thomas. She is working as a licensed Therapy Dog of Vermont and at the recent Dog show at the Fairgrounds earned the title of CANINE GOOD CITIZEN. We are grateful and blessed to have such a loving and lovable family member and thank you for helping to make this happen for us.

Ema

I contacted Good Karma Rescue to find a high energy friendly dog who would enjoy long hikes and be a good companion for my 4 year old lab mix, Oliver. Ema, originally from Serbia, found her way to a family in Vermont. Good Karma Rescue thought of me when her family decided this 16 month old girl had more energy than they could handle. Ema has been a wonderful dog, fun to watch and play with, and now she and Oliver are best friends. When they run off into the distance and I shout "come!", they race back side-by-side. Ema will ask where we're going next after 8 miles in the mountains, but she's happy and settled after our daily 2 mile hike. She was a perfect match. Ema has been a wonderful addition to my life and I think she's really happy here.Thanks Good Karma! -Mike
