Trixie and I are enjoying hikes around Indian Brook! She loves being off leash and is giddy with excitement, exploring off trail but then comes right
back when I give "her" whistle! We love her so much it's hard to think of what life would be without her. Thank you and Chris and Tammy, and all the
volunteers that make adopting rescues possible!
Sage
I can't believe it has been almost two years since we met little Sage!
She has completely settled into being a Brooklyn dog. She and Dr. Midnight (our cat) have figured it out. Astrid still loves him, he tolerates her most of the time. I'm attaching a picture from last month after we had some snow - we took her for a walk in Prospect Park. She LOVES snow - I think she remembers her time in VT. We take her to the dog run or the park a couple times a week and once in a while she goes to doggie day care. She still has her challenges and can get wound up if we have people over, but we're working on it. There really is nothing like coming home after a long day at work and being greeted by her funny face and waggy tail.

We are so in love with our new dog it's not even funny! :o) -- I must confess, we have changed her name to Nellie. She has been "Nellie... Miss Nellie, ...Nells" for some time and it fits her perfectly. She and our other dog Heidi are inseparable now. We take them both to dog classes in Hinesburg on Thursday evenings. THEY LOVE THIS! So much social interaction. Both these dogs love other dogs. Life is good with happy dogs!!

Luka IS THE ULTIMATE DOG!!!! We take her everywhere with us- skiing, climbing, camping, she goes to work with Brian and has become one of the shop favorites- her confidence is amazing outside and improving in new situations. WE LOVE HER! Thanks a million, Katie
